Healthy Gamer is a mental wellness company that creates accessible, inclusive, and affordable mental health services and resources. They empower the internet generation to find peace and purpose through content, community, and coaching. As their brand found success and influence reached new audiences, they realized their brand needed to evolve to cater to a wider audience, while staying in touch with their gaming roots.

The new logo symbolizes HealthyGamer’s understanding of the multi-faceted mind and their ability to help you connect the dots on your mental health journey. The brain itself represents our constant curiosity, and its vibrant colors represent our inclusivity as a caring and approachable community.

The various frequencies of brain waves express the distinct emotions we experience and our fluctuating states of mind. Within HG’s visual system, they serve as a reminder of how each individual is wired differently and is on their own path. Progress isn’t always linear and we may hit roadblocks along the way, but HG gives you the tools and guidance to help you to a healthier happier life.
A GENUINE DEPICTION OF TODAY’S CHALLENGES
Mental health visuals are often plagued with generic tropes: meditating on mountaintops or staring longingly outside the window. It’s reductive and emblematic of society’s lack of understanding of today’s mental health challenges.
For HG, it was imperative that photography accurately and honestly captured the audience they served and the struggles they go through. Photography guidelines were created to ensure an authentic and down-to-earth representation of people and their environments.

As a grass-roots startup, HG had found their niche in content creation and the streaming community, but struggled to reach past their gamer audience. With this new visual identity, they are now able to expand their brand’s influence and reach new heights, pursuing their mission of a happier healthier society.
